Accommodation

An excellent rate has been negotiated for delegates and is only available by booking through the Conference Managers, HI Event Management. All rates are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST.

Bookings

  • Please make your accommodation booking via the conference registration form.
  • Alternatively, accommodation bookings may be emailed to sarah@hievents.com.au after registration is booked, if necessary.
  • If booking your accommodation online, your credit card details must be supplied and will be passed to the hotel to secure your booking.
  • If paying by cheque, your registration, including accommodation booking, should be faxed or posted to the Conference Managers.
  • A deposit equal to one night's tariff must be received at the time of booking.
  • A tax invoice will be issued by your accommodation on check-out.
  • Rooms are not guaranteed for check-in before 1400 hours.
  • Delegate rates cannot be guaranteed for late registrants, i.e. for bookings placed within 30 days of the conference or once the room block allocation is filled. Rates will then be subject to availability.

To extend your stay in the Resort either before or after the conference period, the conference rate shall apply for the three days prior to and/or following the main conference dates - subject to availability.

Accommodation cancellation policy

Cancellations in whole, in part, or no shows, may incur a penalty of at least one night's deposit at the hotel's discretion.

The Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort's cancellation policy takes effect from 1 June 2007. The resort reserves the right to charge one night's deposit for room cancellations or no shows for room bookings cancelled after this time.
